Some of our everyday happenings

I want to post these first two pictures, because I wanted to show you a comparison between our 2 boys. In these pictures they are only a few months different in ages. Tyler is a little older.
This one is Austin. And this is Tyler. Every year I let the kids go to a few neighbors, the fire department and then to Grandma Jackies. This year we had a dog, frog and a lion. They did have a lot of fun and they got quite a bit of candy.I could not get this little lion to look at the camera for anything. But he was adorable. This picture shows you exactly what I am doing constantly. If you look closely Tyler is not facing the same way as the other 2. He is running in the opposite direction as fast as he could. Thankfully he is listening and I did get him running in the right direction pretty quickly.

I have wanted to put cornstalks on our front posts for several years. I decided this year I was going to accomplish it. We had corn fields all around our house this year, but I feel like it is stealing to just go and cut some down, so I was waiting (not so patiently) for them to get into the field and start harvesting it. I waited and waited and all the other field we coming off, but not the ones by our house. So I finally went looking to buy some. I bought them, unloaded them and decided that I would fix supper before I decorated. I don't think I was finished with supper before the farmer was in the field. So I decorated with the sound of a combine in the background. Aahhhh!! Oh well I love the end result.

This poor child always has a battle wound. I was hoping that it would end with time, but I think it is going to just be a part of his life. This pic shows his black eye he received at our Church's Family retreat. I still think he is a little cutie.

This is our climber. He climbs on everything. Here is getting ready to jump from our bed.

Just more cuteness.

Our little schoolgirl. She likes school and is doing a good job and getting good grades. We are very proud of her.

We hope you all have a very Happy Thanksgiving.
