Lost Camera......Found!!!!

It seems like it has been forever since I posted, well I guess it has been a month. Anyways I have wanted to update my blog, but I lost my camera, we had it for the 4th and we took it with us to see the fireworks and lost it sometime there. But now I have a lot of pictures to share. These are from some good times we have had lately.They enjoyed riding the horse as Texas Roadhouse, I put them both on at the same time so I could save a few quarters!!!

To say the least he does not like to get his picture taken. When I tell him to look and smile, this is usually what happens.

They enjoyed this little table in the cabin that we stayed in at camp. It was wonderful to walk into the cabin and see this. They had a lot of fun sitting and eating, coloring and just playing with their toys.

They love their new towels.

She helped me break the ends off the green beans and then snap them in half, well she said they were too hard so I let her use her (butter) knife for the first time. She was so proud of herself, and she knew that daddy would be very happy. And yes, we did have Ham, potatoes and green beans for supper.

This was the feast that we had on the 4th. We tried to make everything red, white and blue, but the mac. salad and cheese was kind of hard, I really did not want to put food coloring in them too!!!!

The promised pictures!!

This was Austin's B-Day cake. Both of my kids love Elmo, so I decided this cake would be really nice for Austin (plus they got the toys off the top)


This was both Grandma's trying to get Austin to look at the camera and not to touch the cake!!!

As you can tell they were not very sucessful!!!!So they all just decided to pose.
To say the least he enjoyed his cake.......


and so did everyone else.
Maria is always helping me in the Kitchen.

Finally we were able to get him to open his presents. This was the Firefighter Elmo sprinkler that Rachel got them.Ring around the rosie...........It must have been raining in the living room.

Quick Update!!

I have a lot of pictures and things to share, I will hopefully get the pics on real soon. This is just a quick little update to let you know that I have not forgotten my blog. We have had a lot of things going on. We had a little immediate family b-day party for Austin on Sunday afternoon, and we had a really good time. I bought both them both a kite, and they enjoyed flying them. On Friday night we went to Jason's cousin, Brittany Smith's Gradation which was very nice, and then we went to Lydia Smith's baby shower on Saturday which also was very nice. So we did not get much relaxation time this past weekend, but we had a lot of fun. I promise to update again soon, because I need to get going because I have a few things to do before I go to bed.
