Our firepalce decorated for Christmas

We have made it through Christmas very wore out, but we have had a lot of fun with family and friends and have made a lot of memories. Emilee and Austin recieved a lot of toys and clothes and they have had fun with all the new toys. We went to Grandma Jackies first on Christmas Eve and just finished tonight with my Uncle Roger and his family. So I think we are going to be glad to just sit back for a while.
Austin got his cast off this past Friday and he still limps around, so I am not sure if it still hurts or is not used to having the cast off yet and is still walking like it is on. So if we can help it we hope he will not get hurt ever again. In the first 18months of his life he has had more things happen to hime than I have in my 25 years.
Well we hope all of you had a nice Christ filled Christmas.

Latest news!!!

We have had a lot of activity and alot of days that I would like to redo. Austin Broke his leg a week ago. When I took him to the doctor they said it looked old, well we knew it wasn't because everyone at church knew when it happened last Sunday, so what we are thinking is that he and Emilee was playing and wrestling like they always do and somehow he hurt his leg and then when I put him down, his leg was just the wrong way and it finished the break. He is getting along with it nicely, and probably is doing better than I would. I would have wanted it off a long time ago, and he just acts, most of the time like it is not even there.
And for the latest news I was in an accident last Thurs. I had gotten the kids pictures taken at Wendy's house (a lady that goes to our church) and was on our way home when I pulled out in front of a SUV. The Lord was watching out for us because, she thankfully had seen me starting to pull out and tried to avoid me and she only hit the front of our SUV instead of Emilee's door. I still want to cry every time I look at Emilee and realize that things could be so different. I thank the Lord that he was protecting us. So, I will be loosing our vehicle tomorrow for a while until it gets fixed.
At the time of the accident I was asking the Lord why. I won't go into a lot of details, but I definitely can say the through all of this my faith has increased. He is a wonderful God, and I know that he cares about the little details in our lives.
If I can figure all the details out with my phone, I will post pictures of Austins leg and our vehicle later.

We're still alive!!

Well I guess it has been longer than I thought since I posted last. We have been very very busy, and the days keep getting shorter. Austin has been sick for a month now. He still has his cough and today during church he was sneezing alot again, so it is probably going to be back to the doctor with him. We had to take him to the Emergency Room about a month age and they said he had the Croup. Emilee is getting to big. It seems like overnight she is saying everything like a 10 year old. She has always talked big for her age, but it seems like she grew up way to quickly. Jason has not been working because of the rain and there basically is no work right now. So this has put a strain on everything especially since Christmas is just around the corner. But he has been staying home with the kids while I work, and they all are loving it and especially the Marconi and cheese and hot dogs just about every day. That is all there is to eat if it was up to Emilee. But daddy does make it really good. Well Jason just about has lunch ready so I need to go help. I hope this post finds everyone doing fine.

We are back from our wonderful vacation and trying to get everything back to normal. We had a very good time. We went to the Dixie Stampede and Country Tonight. Emilee really liked them both and Austin liked the food at the Dixie Stampede. He almost ate a bone from the chicken, but other than that I think he ate what I put in front of him. Well I will post pictures as soon as I can.

I am sorry it has been so long since I have posted anything, but it really has not been as long as you think. I did try to post late last week and I was almost finished with me post and Emilee was playing and turned the whole computer off and my whole post was gone, but other than that things around the Hunsaker's household has been pretty quiet lately, well besides the kids screams. We have been looking for a van and to say the least things have not been going very good. We have looked and looked and looked and still really have not found anything that was either in our price range or it was in our price range but had TONS of miles. So I guess we will be going on vacation with a gas hog. We will be leaving Monday for Pigeon Forge. We are hoping to have a good time, even though the trip there and back could get a little interesting. I do have some new pictures and when I get a little more time I will post them.

Austin's First Haircut

We finally cut his hair with all the curls, but I do not believe that they will be gone forever, because now that his hair has gotten a little longer it will not lay nice anymore and the back is curling again.
Emilee's hair is still just as curly as ever, and on rainy days it is ever more curly. She is a little Mommy to Austin. If I correct him she comes running to see what he did wrong, and the same thing if he gets hurt. I think every since he burnt his hands she has become even more protective over him. Well, please be patient with me I am finally learning how to get pictures on the blog so hopefully I will get some more of our everyday routine on here.

Hunsaker Happenings

I am new at this so I am going be trial and error, but hopefully there will not be a lot of errors. I have wanted to set up a blog for a long time and am just getting around to it. I probably will not have a lot of problems with the writing part, but the pictures well that is a different story. The only thing new in our neck of the woods is that we are putting a new old deck on our house. I know that does not make a lot of sence but our neighbor was taking it off their house and gave it to us so we are putting it on our house. So I have been power washing it and trying to get it ready to stain or paint. Austin and Emilee are having screaming matches all the time these days and Austin gets into everything. So I have been pretty busy. Well I am going to sign off. Have a great day.
