Getting in the Christmas Mood!

This is just pure cuteness. He loves to be the center of attention and he was sure getting it this time. We were eating out and we had given him his own bowl to eat out of. Well he decided that dipping the chip was getting enough cheese I guess, so he decided he would lick the bowl instead. He had cheese everywhere and we were all having fun watching him when I noticed that the people around us were having just as much fun. We ended up having one little girl from the booth behind us sitting with us before it was all over. He sure had fun though.

We were at walmart the other day and they found this hat and had soooo much fun with it. It danced and played music while it was on your head. It really was cute.

Our little silly man!!

This one was not too sure of it. He liked it when it was on Austin and Emilee's head, but not on his.

We hope you are having a great Christmas season and that you have your Christmas shopping done or just about done.

Some of our everyday happenings

I want to post these first two pictures, because I wanted to show you a comparison between our 2 boys. In these pictures they are only a few months different in ages. Tyler is a little older.
This one is Austin. And this is Tyler. Every year I let the kids go to a few neighbors, the fire department and then to Grandma Jackies. This year we had a dog, frog and a lion. They did have a lot of fun and they got quite a bit of candy.I could not get this little lion to look at the camera for anything. But he was adorable. This picture shows you exactly what I am doing constantly. If you look closely Tyler is not facing the same way as the other 2. He is running in the opposite direction as fast as he could. Thankfully he is listening and I did get him running in the right direction pretty quickly.

I have wanted to put cornstalks on our front posts for several years. I decided this year I was going to accomplish it. We had corn fields all around our house this year, but I feel like it is stealing to just go and cut some down, so I was waiting (not so patiently) for them to get into the field and start harvesting it. I waited and waited and all the other field we coming off, but not the ones by our house. So I finally went looking to buy some. I bought them, unloaded them and decided that I would fix supper before I decorated. I don't think I was finished with supper before the farmer was in the field. So I decorated with the sound of a combine in the background. Aahhhh!! Oh well I love the end result.

This poor child always has a battle wound. I was hoping that it would end with time, but I think it is going to just be a part of his life. This pic shows his black eye he received at our Church's Family retreat. I still think he is a little cutie.

This is our climber. He climbs on everything. Here is getting ready to jump from our bed.

Just more cuteness.

Our little schoolgirl. She likes school and is doing a good job and getting good grades. We are very proud of her.

We hope you all have a very Happy Thanksgiving.

My Birthday photo session.

Well that is if you count my mom's front porch and the front of the church as a photo session. My mom has been wanting to get my picture for a while, so I finally said that I would. I also talked my husband into getting his picture with me. It took a lot of talking but he finally agreed. And I think he did a great job. He is a wonderful husband!! Out of my 3 children, she was the only one that wanted to get her picture with her mommy. And she looked away at the last minute. Oh well I still think she is beautiful.

This is my wonderful Grandma. She never is one to get her picture taken and she did Sunday. She is a great Grandma!!!

This little girl is my pride and joy. She is my only girl and we like it that way. The girls like to do things together like.......shopping!!! I think she is absolutely wonderful!

This is my little man. He is always sooo loving. He is starting to really show that he has a tender heart. The littlest things bother him. He is a joy to have in our home.
He is our last pride and joy. He is soooo cute and cuddly. He just did not want to sit still, so the picture is a little blurry, but I think its still cute.

About 3 years on my birthday I had my picture taken in front of the church with Emilee and Austin. I have the picture hanging on our fridge and I wanted to get it a little more current. We have added another child to the Hunsaker household so I thought I should update. Well the kids didn't really like that idea I guess. This is the best we could get. Believe some of the pictures were quite funny.

I had a great birthday. ~10-10-10~ My mom had us over after church and fixed fried chicken with mashed potatoes and fried chicken gravy and the whole works, including cake and ice cream. A big thank you to all of my family for making it such a special day.

Summer Fun!

It has been forever since I last posted, so I have lots of pictures to post. Alot has happened and I am only posting a few pics from some of the events, but we have had a great summer. It has been very very busy, but it has been alot of fun.
The 1st pictures are when Maria was home. We ate at China Gate when she was home and the kids enjoyed every moment of her being here. They also were able to suprise her at the airport, which made Maria very happy.
We also went to the zoo. They really enjoyed all the animals. I think they enjoyed the monkeys the most. Austin still talks about them.Maria suggested that they make a funny face. They enjoyed that.

Our 1st baby was born August 11th, 2004. We thought we were going to have a boy, and were very surprised and very happy when we had a beautiful baby girl. She was the most beautiful baby that we had ever seen. She looked like her daddy, and she had dark skin and lots of beautiful dark hair. We named her Emilee (her daddy picked it out) and she has filled our lives with joy. She now is in first grade and she is getting more beautiful every day.

The flip flops that Mamaw Spencer made for her.

We have decided that this little boy is going to keep our lives very busy. He is always on the go. He does not walk anymore he just runs everywhere. There is not a thing in this house that is Tyler proof. He is already getting on to our bed which the other 2 didn't do until they were at least 2 or 3. He figures just about anything he is not supposed to do, is a challenge to try. Emilee keeps her door shut all the time. The only problem is now he know how to open them. Tonight I was busy and Jason was on the computer and next thing we know it is quiet. Jason went looking and he was outside. So we are going to have to keep the doors locked at all times I guess.
This is just a little mess he made and I thought it was too cute.

My parents, sisters and us went to hear the Collingsworths. We had a great time, great food and heard great singing.

The tooth fairy had to make a visit to our home a while back. Emilee lost her 1st tooth. She was soooo excited. The only problem was that when the tooth fairy came in the middle of the night, she must have been getting into Emilee's things. When Emilee got up the next morning she told me that the tooth fairy got into her drawers, because there was a barrette on the floor that she put there. So if the tooth fairy has to come to your house make sure she does not get into your stuff.
This is Austin checking it out.

Showing off her new smile.

This past weekend we went camping. We had a great time. It was a little chilly until Monday, but on Monday we were able to get on the boat and have some fun. Austin wanted to get into the tube, so Rachel went with him and he had so much fun that when we stopped the boat and I started to pull them in, he started crying.
We kept trying to get Emilee to try it and she kept saying no because she was scared. Finally she must have realized that it would be fun, and we would not go fast enough for her. (She wanted to go faster than Mommy would allow.)
I was able to get a picture when Austin was in the tube. I didn't think it turned out so I did not take one when it was Emilee's turn, but I guess I should have because you can just barely see Austin beside Rachel in the tube.

Hopefully there will not be as much time between this post and the next as there was the post before this one.
I hope all of you had a great summer.

Picture Time!

This picture session was totally unexpected. We had gone to Dayton to go shopping with Rachel and we no more walked into JCP and this lady came over to us and asked if we would like to get the kids pictures taken. She said she would give us pics for free plus a really good coupon. I knew it was past time to get Emilee and Austin's pictures taken, so I agreed. We did not have Austin with us though, so I decided to just get Emilee's taken since I had got Tyler's taken not too long ago.
Once we got up to the studio I realized she had flip flops on. So I told the lady to just not get her feet in any of the pics. Rebecca was with us and she suggested that she just go bare foot, and I love the way they turned out.
I have decided that this is the way to do it, totally unexpected. I did not stress over what she was going to wear or how she would smile, and they were great pics.

My Favorite!!

After I got Emilee's pics I knew I had better get Austin's done quickly if I wanted them to both be back while Maria is here, so off to JCP I went with Austin. This time I did stress a little, because he hates to get his pictures taken. He always sticks his tongue out or makes a funny face or something, but he did a really good job. It always helps when they take a liken to your child. And as soon as they were taken he was ready to go. He did not even want to look at them. He told the employees that he was tired of that place.
