Baby Pictures!!!

I turned the first two, because I think they are easier to see this way. This one is a close up on the baby's face!!! Emilee thinks it looks like her. I think this one is really cute, because it has its arm going up to its chin.

They said everything looked good and the baby looked healthy. They just had a hard time getting some good pictures of the baby's organs and measurements, because it would not lay still. It was getting quite funny and once I started laughing it was even harder. The heartbeat was really good and strong, and they said that so far the baby is a little bigger than normal. I told the doctor that I had hoped for a smaller baby, but.............
So far everything has been going pretty good with this pregnancy, so I have a lot to be thankful for.

Out with the old, in with the new!!

Well that is with the decorations in our living room. I was sooooo ready to take down the fall things and put up the Christmas stuff. I had put up the fall things the 1st of September, so I was really tired of looking at pumpkins and leaves. I put the Christmas things up before December was even here, and I think that it is a first. I always wait until December, but this year I knew if I didn't do it before Dec. I would not have the time to put it all up, because this month is very full of parties and shopping and cleaning the church and shopping and then trying to keep up with our house. We have some kind of a party every weekend until Christmas.
I took some pictures of a few of decorations I have up in the living room. This year the kids were soooooo excited to get all the Christmas things out and get the living room looking nice. Emilee told me after everything was out and put in its proper spot, "Mommy the living room looks so pretty!!!" She always knows how to make her mommy's efforts worth while.

Acting silly as usual!!!

What's Christmas without baby Jesus. And because of this little arrangement, every time Emilee see's a picture of a baby in a cradle, no matter where it is she wants to know if it is baby Jesus.

This looks so pretty at night, because I have lights under the snow.

These are a few pictures for our Thanksgiving. I had another one that showed everyone checking out the turkey, but I don't know what happened to it. We had a really nice time at Jason Grandma and Grandpa Hunsaker's house. It was more of a relaxing time and that was really nice. His Grandma had 7 pies baked, plus the traditional dinner that most people have on Thanksgiving, so we definitely had a feast!!!

Putting on some of Emilee's beads out of her purse and loving it.

Checking to see if the turkey tasted good, before everyone else.........

Well except for Sherry!!!!! (Jason's Aunt)

Latest Happenings!!

It has been forever since my last post and so I hope this does not end up being forever long. But it has been really crazy around here lately!!! I only have a few pictures to post since everywhere I go I never remember to grab my camera, but hopefully that will change sometime in the near future, because I bought a bigger purse!!!! Now I can carry more of the things I need, like a camera!!!
We had our annual church fall retreat and as usual it was a lot of fun. My parents did a wonderful job of getting things coordinated and everything turned out really nice. My Mom had gotten the idea to have a birthday party for everyone. She had the tables decorated for each month of the year and you had to sit at the table that was decorated for the month you were born in. She had Cathy Bailey make the B-day cake and she had party favors, and if you wanted you could participate in a cheap gift exchange. I think everyone had fun, and here is a picture of the cake. Emilee playing with the gift she received.

I think Austin is trying to get a piece of the cake.

The past 2 years I have let the kids dress up and then go to the few houses around us. It usually ends up being 3 or 4 houses. They do not get tons of candy, and that is the way I like it. This year Emilee was a cute little frog.

And here is my little pumpkin. He actually left the hat alone for the most part. They had a lot of fun as you can tell!!!

Lately Emilee has become even more of a little Mommy. I know that I am going to have tons of fun when this baby comes, but I took them to get their Flu shots, and as we were standing in the line Emilee would tell Austin if he was going to far out in the hallway and when he should not do this and that. I happened to here her say "Come here you little Austin" I looked down and she had him in her arm kissing his head and telling him that she loved him. I was loving it, they were actually getting along good for a few seconds. I am finding out all too quickly what my poor Mom went through. She would ask us to please quit arguing, and I find myself saying the same thing all the time.

Austin is my little clown. My mom keeps telling me that he is going to be a clown and I could not agree more. Everything he does and says usually confirms our thoughts. He definitely keeps life interesting!!! Even though there is never a dull moment aound this home, I could not be happier with the family that God has blessed us with.

Hunting,messes and horses!!!

Its official, he is ready for hunting season. He saved every penny of his birthday money and he bought the waders he needed for hunting season. He had told me that he really needed these, and then he told me that I had one of two options. He would either buy the waders or a dog. He needed one of the 2 for duck/goose hunting, because once he shot the duck/goose he or the dog would have to go and get it. Those of you who know me already know which one I chose. I do not like animals very well, and we do not need a dog, so I was more than happy with his purchase. Those of you who are mothers probably have seen this many of times. I was getting them ready for their nap and they were hungry, so I had a piece of doughnut in a baggy on the counter and that is what Austin spotted, so I agreed that they could eat one. I went to the living room for a few minutes and when I returned this is what I found all over the counter, the bar stools and the floor. A mess!!!! I think they were still hungry when they went to bed from the looks of this. This picture has a funny little story behind it. We had pork chops and rice for dinner tonight, and like always he made a mess. When he stood up in the high chair he stepped on the rice and as you can see he was picking it off his feet and eating it. I did catch him right in the middle. He is our little clown!!!

This is my beautiful little cowgirl. She loves horses, and is always riding her horse around the house and having races. I would tell you the horses name, but I think it has a different name about every 2 hours!!

Announcing.....

The 3rd little Hunsaker is on the way!!! We are very excited, especially Emilee! She keeps telling me that she can't wait to hold her, and I keep telling her that we don't know if it is going to be a girl or not, but she doesn't care. I am almost ten weeks and the due date is April 24th.

Catching up!!!

I have a lot of catching up to do and it all started the weekend of the 14th. We went to Cincinnati for our anniversary. I had reserved dinner for us on the Bell on Cincinnati and I would not tell Jason where we were going, so he was surprised. We had a really good meal with all you can eat prime rib, Jason was loving it!!! And then it took us down the river for a nice quiet little cruise. It was beautiful once the sun went down and all the lights of Cincy came on. We also stayed at a really nice hotel. I did not know what to expect since I just picked one that I thought was close to where the boat was docked and we were really happy with it.
We came home on Saturday night and on Sunday about 3:30p.m. our electricity went out. We figured it would be out for a few hours and then life would get back to normal. Boy were we ever wrong. Since every time that the weather gets really bad Jason usually has fire calls at the fire station, so the kids and I were at home in the dark alone, so I decided to have company in the dark. We had my parents, his Mom and brother and Harry Jones over and fixed hamburgers and mac and cheese on the grill. We really did have a good time in the dark. We then went to his Mom's to get a shower because she had a generator, and came home knowing that the power would be on when we got up, wrong!!!!!!!!!!! Our power did not come back on until sometime around 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday night. We were ever so thankful for electricity. That was the longest 2 1/2 days that we have been through in a long time, and it took me until Saturday to get everything back to normal. So we have decided that we really do not want to be pioneers anytime soon.
I am posting a few pictures from the last few weeks, Enjoy!!
They love to help Mommy in the kitchen, so here is the beginning of.........
........ pumpkin pie. He did manage to spill a little, but he had fun.

She did a very good job, hopefully she will be my cook someday!!!
Jason's B-day was the 11th, so I decorated the table and we had pork chops, baked potatoes, green beans and brownie, ice cream with hot fudge for dessert.
Daddy opening what the kids gave him.

Here is some pictures of the Hotel we stayed in.

The beautiful two room suite. I wish we could have stayed longer, well all except our check book was saying NO WAY!!!
This was the view from out hotel window. It was beautiful!!!
This was on the Bell of Cincinnati. Everything was really good.

To say the least the background was beautiful, but my camera is very cheap and it does not take good pictures at night. We had another couple ask us to take their picture and their camera was nice and the background turned out very beautiful, so I was disappointed with our picture.

Weekend Happenings

We did have a fun weekend, but it went way too fast. We went to my parents with some friends Sunday night and had a lot of good food and fun. Then on Monday we decided we did not want to have a big cookout and have a big mess and I didn't want to have to deal with fixing the food all day and then cleaning up all night, so we decided to have pizza and have our parents over. So that is what we did and it was alot of fun too. Relaxing with Daddy on Monday morning!!!
Helping Mommy clean!!!!
This one was not doing a lot of helping, considering that the front of the sweeper never hit the floor, but he had fun.

These were taken Sunday morning after church. They looked so cute and I wanted some pictures, but I had pulled enough teeth with these 2 pictures, and I decided it wasn't worth it.

A whole lot of something!!

It has been a long time since I last posted, and don't have a lot of pictures to share because every time we go somewhere I mean to take the camera, but.........it is always at home when I need it.

We took Maria to the airport last Tuesday. We went to Columbus on Monday night and spent the night at Grandpa and Grandma Hunsakers. We had a really good time and I did remember my camera. I got it out to take a few pictures and realized that I had forgot to grab the memory card off the computer desk, soooo......

We had a good time Monday night with family then little sleep and off to the airport to watch her leave us for Guatemala. Tears were flowing, but I know that she is doing what God wants her to do with her life, and no matter what we want, she will only be happy in the center of God's will, and I am happy for her. I have added a link to her blog, so feel free to check it out.

On Saturday night we headed out for a family night starting at the Olive Garden ( because I had a coupon) then the mall and then we were going to meet my parents, Uncle Roger and his wife for a game of Putt Putt, well to make a long story shorter, we did not make it in time for the game, but we were going to let the kids play on some of the blow up activities they have. We were waiting on a train, Austin was wound up tight and playing as normal and reached over toward Emilee and somewhere along the line unfastened his car seat. Austin and the car sear hit the floor of the van upside down. I got out to get him and fix his car seat, Jason had already got him out and was checking him over, and we realized that he didn't just hit the floor, but the little metal hook that comes out of the floor that attaches the console to the floor. He had a BIG egg on his forehead and a nasty bruise immediately. To say the least our family night was ruined, and we have come to the realization that if one of our children is going to get hurt, it is going to be Austin. I am beginning to wonder if anything should really surprise me. He is better, he still has a nasty looking bruise, but is going to be fine.

I thought I would post a few pictures of my little angels, while they were being angels!!! Thank you Maria for Emilee's jumper, it looks really nice!!

Emilee's Birthday!!!

This picture is of Emilee from her 3rd B-day!!! It's hard to believe that she looks so much older this Birthday. My time flies.
This is her 4th Birthday and we had her party on Sunday with just our parents!! She got quite a few clothes and some toys. She picked out this Princess cake. She couldn't wait to eat some too!!!She is opening her dress from Rachel.....and....making sure it fits!!!We took the kids to the zoo, and they had a lot of fun. Their favorite part was the horses and getting to ride them all by themselves!!!!
Daddy did walk beside Austin just to make sure he wouldn't fall off.

They got to pet the goats and liked it, until one jumped on Emilee and then the tears started flowing.

Getting a drink out of the lion's mouth.

As you can tell feeding the ducks and fish was our next favorite part. They had a lot of fun watching all the fish fight over the food.

We rode the train and went through a tunnel and that was really neat too!!! (BTW sunglasses do nothing for the hair)

Later we ate as she calls it "chips and cheese" Mexican. She was sung to and had the hat put on her head, and then she was nice and shared with her brother!!!
