A Busy Week...

in the life of the Hunsakers. We have just recovered from a busy weekend and now are headed into a very busy week. This past weekend we went to Maria's Graduation. Everything was very nice. She looked very pretty in her cap and gown. After the Graduation we went to Germantown Pizza. It was very good. I had never been there before and I now can say that I would go back any day for their cheese bread. I would love to share pictures, but that was one of the things I did forget, a camera. I have never been very good at carrying a camera around. My sisters and Maria are very good at that.

I neglected to post around Mother's day, but I had a really nice Mother's day. Jason bought me roses and a card. I have a wonderful husband!!! He also got a card for the kids to give to Mommy. He let Emilee give the roses to me and as she was giving the roses to me she told me Happy Birthday!!! But I have a wonderful Mother and Mother-in-law, and we had a good time around the Sunday dinner table. We hope that all of you Mothers had a good Mother's day!!

Jason planted out garden last week which is at his parents, and at dinner that night Emilee asked "Are we eating the food from Grandma's mud?" To say the least she is looking forward to eating the food from the garden.

Last night we had our Mother Daughter Banquet. We had a really good time and as always the food was really good. I think we have some of the best cooks at our church. Emilee was all excited that she was going to get to go with Mommy to a "party" but when we dropped Austin off at Grandma Hunsaker's house she didn't want to party with Mommy any more, and Austin cried that Mommy was leaving. I think that I should have taken him instead, but Grandma said that he had a good time eating cereal!!!! She fixed a really nice dinner, and all he wanted was cereal.

Hopefully my next post I will have some new pics, but my camera is having some issues, so I am not sure what I am going to do with it. I am thinking a new one would be nice!!!!!!!

God's beautiful Creation

The kids and I had been outside playing, when it started to rain Tues. night, so we started looking for a rainbow, because the sun was still shining. We did find this behind our house, and when I actually went around to the back of the house it went all the way across the sky. The longer we looked at it the more beautiful it became. The next time we looked it was a double rainbow. It was beautiful!!!! If you look real close above the rainbow you can see the 2nd one!!

Sunday night before church the kids had been playing in Emilee's room, and to say the least it was a mess. So I told Emilee to go to her room and clean it up. It was not very long and she called for us to come see her room. She had cleaned the whole room up and had even made her bed. (if you look real close you can see the BIG bump in the middle of the bed) The only thing was that you could not open her closet because she had put it all in there!!!!
Austin had tried my purse on for size and when I ran for the camera he then did not want his picture taken.

The last three pictures are kind of self explanatory. Austin fell and has a scrape on both knees and on his nose. While we were looking at him Emilee jumped down the steps and fell and now she has a scrape on her knee. Thank the Lord that Jane was with me at that time, so she helped me get them into the car. Once I got home I had one crying child on each end of the couch.

No, I am not crazy, but we did have a good time.

Mary and I took the kids to see Elmo!!!! We had a really good time, and the kids really enjoyed it. After it was over all Austin would say was "Elmo done?" That is all I heard on the way home!!!

Loving the Weather!!!

Tonight we headed outdoors to enjoy the beautiful weather again (we were out last night) and I had just sit down with my magazines when I heard Austin starting to really cry. I looked up just in time to see him sprawled out flat on the sidewalk. He had fallen down the front steps. So I went to help. I picked him up turned around just in time to see Emilee flat on the sidewalk. So now I have 2 crying children (very loudly) the neighbors were all out and looking by this time. Emilee would not walk so I picked her up to go inside quickly and looked at Austin who had stopped crying and told him to come, but he stopped and (acted like his sister) held his knee that was not hurt. He couldn't walk either!!!! To say the least we did make inside and Austin cried for about 2 minutes and Emilee I think would still be crying if I had not threatened to put her to bed. But all we have is little scrapes. So I guess if the weather permits we will be back outside for a while before church tomorrow night, and hopefully without anyone falling.

We really enjoyed IHC and enjoyed seeing a lot of friends that we hadn't seen for a while. I think the services were really good and I enjoyed the mass choir as always. We did even make it to the youth service on Wed. and I thought everyone did a really good job. I am already looking forward to next year!!
