~Merry Christmas~

Earlier today I went to Walmart and people were absolutely everywhere. I was thinking I was I dodging people left and right and trying to smile at everyone, it seems that no one knows the real meaning of Christmas anymore. People were trying to get the last minute gifts and everything that they are going to need for Christmas, and everyone was in a hurry. No one really seemed happy.
I want to teach my children that presents are not the reason, nor the center of what the day is all about.

As we were passing a house on the way to my parents, they had a little Santa Clause in every window and then had a little manger scene at the bottom of one of the windows. I told Jason that totally does not even look right, but anymore they both seem to just be a figure at Christmas.
I want Jesus to be the real reason of our celebration and to keep Christ in Christmas. I hope all of can say that we have kept Christ in our Christmas, and we hope that you all have a very Merry Christmas.

Odds and Ends.

Well that is kinda how I feel about this post. A little bit of everything.
This was at Emilee's schools Christmas program. She was an angel and had to say a little line in the program. She did a really good job. We had practiced her line over and over so much that Austin knew it by heart too. And he told her if she was saying it wrong. I don't have any pictures of the program, because I do not have the best camera in the world and they were using the spotlight so the pictures are really dark. She was sooooo happy to be in the program.
They love to color, so this is how you will find them most of the time anymore.

I love this picture. She has a really cute personality.

This little man looks like he has a "pop" belly in this picture. He is so much fun.

We hope you all..

... had a wonderful Thanksgiving.
We had a very good Thanksgiving with Maria surprising everyone and coming home. The kids have enjoyed her being here so much already. Every time that Austin has to tell her goodbye he cries, because he thinks that she is leaving to go back to Guatemala already and he doesn't want her to leave. I have a few pictures to post hopefully I can do that soon, but we just hope your Thanksgiving was filled with family and fun and lots of thankfulness.

Tyler's first haircut.

I really wanted to wait for a little bit longer forthe first haircut, but he was starting to look like a little girl, so we decided that it was time. So here is some pictures of his 1st haircut. BTW he didn't even cry, and neither did mommy. YAY!!!! Well now I feel like crying everytime I look at him becasue he looks like a big boy. I saved all the hair I cut off and the I wanted to save a curl, so it is the one with the twistie tie on it.
This is the new look. Soooooo cute.

We tried doing Austins hair a little different for church a week or so ago, and he looked so cute, but he absolutly hates it. So to save myself some heartache I don't know how often I will do it this way, because there is lots of tears shed when done this way.

~Tyler~

These are his 6 month pictures. He did a really good job. I always hate it when they take really good pictures, because I have a hard time picking out which pictures I like the best. But they all were good, and I am happy with all of them. I love his eyes!!!!

In Home Studio!!

This past week we had an in home studio picture session. Emilee was soooo excited, Austin wasn't so sure about it and Tyler thought it was the worst idea ever. I have decided that this will not happen again for a very long time.
I worked at JC Penny's photography studio for a while before we were married, so I decided I did know a little about taking pictures and getting things set up, the only thing I did not plan on was the unhappy children. I did manage to get one good picture of all 3 of them so at least not all of my effort was in vain.
So here are some of the pictures that we took. The ones of them individually are pretty good. Just have to do something about the red eye.

I had to put one picture in the shows a little of my struggles.

Tyler is just learing to sit up and is doing really well. I was taking some pictures of him sitting up and I just so happened to catch him as he was falling over. He looks so cute just sitting there all by himself.

Picture Overload!!

I thought I would start this post out with a little happy boy. He is pure happiness. And we are all in love with him. Most of the time the kids cannot keep their hands off of him, and well neither can Mommy. He is adorable. This past weekend was our fall church retreat. We had lots of laughs and made lots of memories. The picture below is one of those cute times that we were happy to be able to catch a glimpse of on the camera.
Allison is kissing Noah and she was backing him up in the corner. It was sooo cute.

As you can tell they were really busy helping clean up.
Such a good baby!!!
Rachel and Austin cuddling.
Sally and Karis, some of Emilee's friends.

Bro. & Sis. Alley. Two wonderful people.

My wonderful parents.

She looks like she is up to no good.I think they were trying to look busy, but...

Allison was loving walking around in my shoes.

This is what they had been waiting for the whole weekend. They loved getting a bath in the big sink.

I tried to catch him in the act, but couldn't. He was bent over backwards trying to get the chips. It was really cute.

I think they are starting a little young. But ohhh they are cute

My sweet hubby with the cookies that Maria sent him for his birthday.

The next few pictures are of the parade of Fire Trucks for the Asst. Fire Chief of our department. He passed away at the age of 44, he was diagnosed with cancer 1 year ago. The parade was one of the neatest and most tear jerking things I have ever seen.
The Fire Trucks drove for 2 hours by 7 Fire Stations. The pictures are in order starting at the funeral home and ending at the cemetery. This is the truck that Jason was in.
This flag was huge. They had to tie it down.

This is what I fixed for our 7th anniversary dinner. It was good and looked really pretty.
Its hard to believe that we have been married for 7 years already. I can honestly say they have been the best and most fulfilling years of my life. I want to be married to Jason for many more years.
