Emilee's First Day of School.

We must be getting old to already have a child in school, well it is making me feel really old. And then the fact that she is old enough to go to school blows my mind too. She was so excited to go to school. We put her to bed at 9:30 the night before and she was still awake at 11:00 p.m. She was so excited that she could not even go to sleep.
I had taken that day off from work, because I wanted to take her to school and take pictures. I fixed the kids eggs with cheese and hot dogs in it (thanks to Grandpa Hunsaker for starting the hot dog thing.) She didn't eat much because of all the excitement, so we got ready and took her to her first day of school. Once we got to school she was soooo happy because she and Kaitlynn had the same lunch box and little school box, and she thought that was great.
She had a good day at school and then was disappointed that it was Friday, because she wanted to go back the next day.
She has been in school for a week now, and loves it.
So far Mommy has done pretty good. I only shed a few tears the first day. Austin was lost the first day, but has been pretty good since then. Tyler I don't think misses her, but she sure misses him. He is the first person she wants to see when she gets home.
Here are some pictures of her first day at school. She is all ready and waiting not so patiently for us to walk out the door.

Getting to see her desk for the first time. Look at that smile!!!

Her and her friend, or should I say partner in crime? HA!

The next 2 pictures show what Austin thought of the whole thing.

And this is what Tyler did.

The next few pics are the little photo session I had for Tyler. He is 4 months and is a little ham. He is cutting 2 teeth and they are giving him and Mommy alot of grief right now, hopefully they will be here in the next few days. He is getting to be a little handful. And the days are over of holding him and sitting "close" to the table or anything for that matter. He also has found out that he has hair. He grabs his head and just looks at you, it is soooo cute.
I hope you enjoy the pics!!!

Awww, thanks for the post! I have been waiting for the pics of the first day of school! She's so adorable!! I wanted to cry and smile all at the same time ;) Glad she's enjoying it.

The other pictures are also adorable. Tyler is growing up way too fast. He looks like he is going to take after his older brother ;)

Love you guys and miss you so much. Your background theme makes me a little homesick, too. Sure do miss the fall weather. Hope things are going well.

so adorable thanks for sending me the picture to my phone. I have not been on blogs for awhile. All of your children are adorable. Can't wait to see you all in October.
