Well at least Tyler is. Nothing is safe anymore. I leave him for 2 seconds and either he gets stuck between things, he has something he is not supposed to or making a mess. And lately the mess part has been just about everyday. Here is a picture of the mess he made the other night while I was on the computer. He us 9 months old now and is a ball of fun.

~Date Night~

On Saturday night my hubby and I had a date night. It was supposed to be a surprise for me, but I kinda ruined that one. Anyways Jason had bought tickets for us to go see the Booth Brother's. We ate dinner first at J. Alexander's in Dayton. It was an awesome meal. The only thing that we would have done different was when we got to the restaurant the lady that seated us asked us if we wanted some "rolls." We thought they were dinner rolls, boy were we ever wrong. They brought us these Mexican looking things that all I could see was what I thought were black olives. Jason tasted them and realized that they were black beans.
They honestly were very good, but we kept looking at them and wondering how much these funny looking things cost us. To make a long story short, they ended up costing us $8.00, and we have decided that we never are going to say "yes" to rolls before asking how much they are first. Here is a picture of our "rolls"
Sorry that the quality of the pic's are not that great, but they are from my cell phone. I had to be very careful, because on the menu it asked that there please be no cell phone's in the dining room, so we figured that we had better not ask the waitress to take a picture of us at our table.

I took some more pic's so when I said that my baked potato was huge, you would believe me. I read somewhere that they were pound potatoes. I took over half of it and my chicken home.
I also took a pic of Jason's plate so he could always remember what his awesome steak looked like.

We had a really good time, just the two of us. The concert was the best one we have ever been too. They really did a good job and they were constantly reading scripture and at the end of the concert Michael Booth explained the plan of Salvation. He also played the drums and sang at the same time. I think that would be difficult having your foot and both hands playing the drums all in a different beat and still singing in the same tempo that the others were. Pretty neat! The concert was at a Baptist Church, and after Michael saying that he hoped that they don't believe that they are going to Heaven because they prayed once, a long time ago and asked for forgivness that now everything is just fine. I hope they get called back. But he was right in what he was telling them, that is was alot more than just praying once, but that you need to have a changed life and live everyday for God.
Oh and BTW, I hope you weren't hungry before you starting reading this post!!!

Finally some pic's from our Christmas!

I thought I would start this post out with some goodies to help me remember some of the things that helped put on a few extra pounds this Christmas season. There definitely was not a shortage on the food this year.We did have a very fun and busy Christmas. We started at 4:00 p.m. on Christmas Eve and didn't stop until about 10:00 p.m. on Christmas night. We first went to Jason's Grandma and Grandpa Hagers house and them my parents on Christmas Eve. We did not get home from there house until 1:30 Christmas morning. We were to be at Jason's parents at 9 a.m. but sometime during the night the power went out, and we woke up at about 8:45 to a blinking clock, so that was when I went into high gear for a while. We made it about a half hour late and had a very nice breakfast and then Christmas with them. We were supposed to be at my Grandma Spencer's at 12 noon, but we were again about a half hour late to her house. We had lunch and Christmas with my Dad's side of the family, and then rushed home to straighten up our house and fix and light supper, because my parent and sisters and his parents and brother and sisters were to be at our house at 6. Then on Saturday we were to be somewhere between Dayton and Columbus for Christmas with Grandma and Grandpa Hunsaker's side. And we had a fun time there too. So yes, it was very very busy, but we did enjoy it and were looking forward to a quite New Year's Day. All I did was stay in my pajamas and do laundry and clean the house. It was nice. So here are a few pictures of our different Christmas'.
Check out those eyes!!Checking it out very carefully.
She is all into Barbie's this year, and she did get quite a few too. This is all but 2 of my Dad's brother and sisters. My Dad's brother David was killed about 15 years ago, and then his brother Rex couldn't make it, but the back row L to R is Joyce and Sue, the next row is Mike, my Grandma, Jr. and then my Dad. I think he liked the fire truck, what do you think?

Maria is almost always in the kitchen, but it sure was nice having her home for Christmas.
She loved the horse.

My beautiful mother and the very annoying guitar she got the kids.
Tyler in his new jamies.

This is all the grand kids on the Hunsaker's side. Well there is 5 missing, but all that was able to make it.
